FAQ's

How do i join the tour?

Short Answer: Easy.
Longer Answer: The world tour goes live across our full range network, so it will be live on the Inrange touchscreens (note: you cannot play on mobile bays).

How do I join the event?

Short Answer: Login & play.
Longer Answer: You must log in to your account for scores to count. Once you’re logged in, go to the event card, tap that and follow the prompts.

How do I score points?

Short Answer: Two ways - course and bonus events.
Longer Answer: Each round there will be a 6-hole course competition and a bonus event (like Long Drive or Nearest to Pin). You get points in each, so do both, always.

How long does it take to set a score?

Short Answer: Quick quick.
Longer Answer: We’ve designed the tour so that you can do both course and bonus events in a 1hr session.

Can I keep playing all month?

Short Answer: Yes, but...
Longer Answer: The event will be live all month, and you can play whenever - but - you only have 5 attempts to set your best score each round. So practice until you’re ready to go.

! Important: exiting at any point after the course has loaded will use an attempt. So don’t ‘rage quit’

Can I set scores with friends?

Short Answer: By popular demand, yes.
Longer Answer: All tour events will be available in both Single Player and Multiplayer (Inrange+) so you can play together in the event, with the scores being captured for each individual player. But please note - all bonus event scores must be set in Single player - only course play in MP counts.

How do you make sure it's fair for everyone?

Short Answer: Skill-based divisions.
Longer Answer: All players will compete in a division, which is determined initially by your handicap and then on your performance. Players who play much better or worse than their current division will be promoted or relegated accordingly; keeping it competitive for you throughout the whole season.

how does the promotion/relegation work?

Short Answer: Play good, go up. Play bad, go down.
Longer Answer: The most important thing about the IWT is that you are competing in a category that you can win (if you play well). So, each round promotion criteria scores are announced (through email and our socials) so you know the score that will get you promoted, or relegated.

do i have to join from the start?

Short Answer: No.
Longer Answer: You can join the IWT in any month and set a score to earn IWT points. You’ll be further down the rankings in your Division but all scores will go towards your Division calculation for following seasons - and - the final round of Divisions 2-8 will be a double points round - so you can always catch up.

are there prizes up for grabs?

Short Answer: Of course.
Longer Answer: Other than bragging rights at your venue, the top two divisions (Elite and Division 1) will be competing for cash and sponsored prizes. The rest of the divisions will be competing for ‘Free Golf for a year’ at your venue (2 sessions per month or 24 free sessions in one year)

what is the elite division?

Short Answer: The cool kids.
Longer Answer: We have an invitation-only group of top-talent called the Elites. These are some of the best Range Golfers in the world and will compete for a major prize. You should follow them on socials and track their progress.

when does this all get started?

Short Answer: Real soon.
Longer Answer: Round 1 tees off on May 1st and the tour page - with all the info you need - will be live from early April.
