Teams can now battle it out on world-famous courses alongside traditional challenges like Longest Drive and Nearest to Pin. Teams can now battle it out on any of our world famous courses, seamlessly alongside your favorite challenges like Longest Drive and Nearest to Pin. This isn't just another game mode - it's the missing piece that transforms your range session into a full-scale golf tournament experience.
Range golf is evolving into a sport in its own right, and our players have been leading the charge. The Bay vs Bay format has become the go-to choice for social groups and corporate events, but there was always one request we kept hearing: "Can we play some courses too?"
We listened. Ranges can still setup and run more formal course tournaments, but now we are putting the power in players hands too, allowing players to seamlessly setup and run their own bespoke Bay vs Bay sessions with courseplay included.
Here's where things get exciting. We've introduced Packs - four carefully curated collections of games and courses tailored to different skill levels and group dynamics. Whether you're hosting a corporate group looking for some casual play whilst trying to beat the boss; or some serious golfer groups looking to test their skill, there's a pack that fits perfectly.
Don't see exactly what you want? No problem. Create a Custom Pack with any combination of games, courses, and holes you desire. Want to crown the "short-course champion" by playing all the par 3s across a number of different famous courses? Done. Planning a corporate event and want to focus on course play, but also want to include Long Drive and Nearest To Pin? Easy.
Getting started couldn't be simpler. The first group kicks off an Inrange+ Teams session as usual, then decides whether to select a pre-configured Pack or build something completely custom. Once locked in, every other group joining the session gets access to the same curated collection - no confusion, no setup headaches for staff.
Course play defaults to Scramble mode (with Strokeplay coming soon), and winners earn points toward the overall Teams leaderboard, making every shot count toward your team's victory.
This feature represents something bigger than just adding courses to Teams. It's about empowering players to create their own competitive golf experiences without depending on range staff or Inrange support. It's about giving ranges the confidence to put any group into a Bay vs Bay session, knowing they'll have an incredible time.
Most importantly, it's another step toward establishing range golf as a legitimate sport - one where players drive the action, create their own tournaments, and compete on the world's most famous courses without ever leaving their bay.
Courses In Teams is rolling out now! Whether you're a range owner looking to elevate your group events or a player ready to take your Bay vs Bay experience to legendary courses, the future of competitive range golf has arrived.
Ready to turn your next session into a major championship? Fire up Inrange+ Teams and discover what happens when the world's greatest courses meet the ultimate team golf experience.
High Striker is the latest addition to the Inrange+ games lineup - an arcade-inspired, multiplayer game designed for players of all skill levels.
The objective is simple: Hit it long. Hit it straight. Rack up the points. Whether you’re a scratch golfer, first-timer, or just here for a good time, High Striker levels the playing field and keeps every player in the running until the very last shot.
We know that not every player steps up to the tee with a handicap in mind. Some are just happy to get the ball out of the bay and celebrate with their mates.
So we asked ourselves:
"What if we could create a game where a first-timer could beat a scratch golfer?"
That’s how High Striker was born. We wanted to build a game that is:
And most importantly - a game that keeps the energy high and the competition alive until the very last shot.
High Striker turns the entire outfield into a dynamic, ever-changing game board:
Dynamic Outfield:
The scoring zone adjusts based on your skill level. Beginners get points for shorter and less accurate shots, while the pros will need to keep it long and straight to stay ahead.
Mystery Zone Bonuses:
Mystery zone keeps things spicy with random bonuses; like stealing points, extra shots or big multipliers to keep everyone guessing.
Round Multipliers:
Points double with every round to ensure there is always an exciting finale and no one is safe until the final ball is hit.
For Players
High Striker is built to make every shot exciting - whether you’re chasing the top score or just trying to out-hit your friends.
With its dynamic scoring and unpredictable bonus zones, it’s a game that keeps everyone involved, laughing, and wanting to play again.
No matter your skill level, every shot counts.
For Range Owners & Operators
High Striker is designed to increase player engagement, drive repeat visits, and grow your customer base.
We understand that entertainment venues thrive on group bookings and social play - and that means catering to a wide range of abilities.
By levelling the playing field, High Striker ensures every group has a great time and keeps coming back for more.
It’s the perfect game for:
Another reason why Inrange is the leader in entertainment-focused golf experiences.
High Striker is now live on Inrange+
Hit it long. Hit it straight. Watch your back!
If you’ve ever shown up to a bay that was already booked, waited around not knowing if it was free, or wondered where to go when you had a booking — you’re not alone. It’s been too easy to end up in the wrong place, or have someone else sitting in your spot when it’s your time to play.
We’ve fixed that with a simple but powerful update to your range experience. Now, when you walk up to any bay, you’ll instantly see whether it’s:
This helps everyone find the right spot quickly — and avoid stepping into someone else’s session.
Book in Seconds, straight from the Bay
See an available bay you want? Just tap the screen and scan the dynamic QR code. You’ll be taken straight to the booking page, with the range and bay already selected. It’s fast, easy, and gets you playing with no hassle.
If you’ve already booked online, just enter your PIN at the bay when you arrive. No check-in needed.
When your session is about to start, the bay will show your booking on screen — so you know you’re in the right place, and others can see it’s yours. It’s a small detail, but it makes the whole experience feel more polished and personal.
Book from the Bay is perfect whether you're a planner or a walk-in. It supports flexible, "pay to start" play — ideal at ranges with auto tee-up — so you can book, unlock, and start playing with zero delay.
This update is all about removing friction. No confusion. No interruptions. No unnecessary steps. Just a more intuitive, modern experience — built around how you actually play. Whether you’re here for practice, fun, or competition, Book from the Bay helps you get started faster and enjoy your time more.
Next time you're at the range, give it a try. Look for the touchscreen, check bay availability, scan the QR code, and book in seconds.
We’re excited to now support Inrange+ event authentication. This powerful addition allows for player-level authentication at the start of each event attempt - ensuring a more secure, fair, and engaging experience for competitive groups.
With this update, every player joining an Inrange+ event can now be required to authenticate via a simple pop-up screen before they can take part. This unlocks a host of new possibilities for operators and event organisers.
Whether ranges are running an after-work league, a branded competition, or a high-stakes corporate event, this feature gives them the control and confidence to deliver premium, tailored experiences. It’s also a big step toward more scalable and secure event formats, supporting your goals for engagement and monetisation.
Ready to try it out? Head to the Inrange+ section and look out for authenticated campaigns and leagues.
As always, we’d love your feedback—this is just the beginning.

Hot on the heels of 1.62, we’re back with more!
Our final build of 2024 introduces Nearest to Pin in Inrange+, adds extra tee boxes for every course, and delivers multiple gameplay enhancements. It’s the ultimate gift for players this Christmas season!
We have updated all of our courses to support 5 unique tee boxes. This is designed to provide the fairest and most compelling playability experience. Currently the chosen tee box is selected automatically based on the player's skill and gender, however implementation has begun on features to let players select their tee box.
The fan-favorite game, Nearest to Pin, has arrived in Inrange+, bringing two exciting ways to play. Proximity Mode delivers the classic closest-shot-wins gameplay that golfers know and love. For those craving a modern twist, Points Mode offers an arcade-inspired experience with points-based progression and levels.
Both modes promise quick, thrilling challenges that will fire up the competitive spirit in any golfer. Ready to take your shot? Read the full feature article here.
Events for all games can now be scheduled in Inrange+. Want to run a corporate Longest Drive event, or perhaps a Friday Night Shrinking Target Social. You can now do this. Players can compete on an individual leaderboard but also as a team.
Tee to Green is the ultimate test of course management and performing under pressure. To enhance the experience, we’ve fine-tuned the scoring algorithm, ensuring a balanced progression in difficulty for all players and bringing scores in line with expectations. The result? A fairer, more competitive challenge that keeps golfers engaged and striving for their best.

My main goal with the Inrange+ redesign was to create an experience that immerses players in the fun, social, and competitive aspects of golf, while elevating the product to deliver a more polished and sophisticated experience. The new designs are centered around the use of sharp edges, vibrant colors, and dynamic textures & layouts with the aim of generating excitement and energy and giving the UI a fresh, modern look.
To do this, I drew inspiration from current UX design trends like glassmorphism, with its subtle frosted-glass effects that add depth and transparency to the interface. I also included principles of neomorphism, giving certain elements a soft, 3D appearance, blending shadows and highlights in a way that makes the interface feel interactive and alive. Subtle use of gradients was included to enhance the sense of dimension and vibrancy. The use of these UI design practices helped me strike a balance between playfulness and sophistication, with the aim of delivering both an imaginative yet refined product.
A key part of the redesign was also moving away from some of our old Inrange+ design language, which had a more youthful, video-game-like vibe. While our previous style was fun, it didn’t fully reflect the sleeker and more innovative nature we wanted to highlight in Inrange+. Still, preserving the user experience was paramount. I didn’t want players to feel as though they had to re-learn how to navigate the software, so I kept much of the original layout intact. Familiarity in navigation was crucial to ensure players felt comfortable while interacting with the updated design. A lot of the changes made are visual, not structural—allowing users to enjoy a refreshed interface while still having a seamless, intuitive experience.
Another focus was streamlining the visual identity between single-player and multiplayer modes. Borrowing elements from the single-player structure helped create a unified experience across the software. The goal was for both modes to feel like they’re part of one cohesive product, with shared navigation layouts making it easier for players to transition between them.
Ultimately, the redesign was about blending the excitement and social nature of Inrange+ with a sleek, sharp design. The aim was to create a UI that is modern, engaging, and user-friendly, while staying true to the core values of the brand.
Thanks for being a part of our journey. I hope our new look helps you enjoy Inrange+ even more—happy golfing.
Golf is a game of precision, challenge, and the thrill of competition. With our new multiplayer Nearest to Pin for Inrange+, we’re taking that excitement to new heights. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer seeking the ultimate challenge or a range owner looking to captivate your audience, Nearest to Pin Multiplayer is designed to inspire, engage, and elevate every range experience.
The driving range is no longer just a practice ground—it’s a stage for sport, competition, and entertainment. That’s why we’ve developed tools that help ranges create compelling, competitive experiences, and Nearest to Pin Multiplayer is the next step in that evolution.
Nearest to Pin competitions have long been a favorite challenge in golf, testing precision and skill. We wanted to honor this tradition while modernizing it for today’s players—both seasoned golfers and newcomers.
To achieve this, we developed two modes:
"Designing Nearest to Pin required rethinking our UI to support unique gameplay where the player's tee box moves instead of the island targets. Clear visual cues, like a mini-map and colour-coded signposting, ensure players always know their target. Dynamic shot data tiles provide instant feedback on key stats like launch angle, ball speed, and proximity, making the experience both analytical and engaging. A new target selection screen helps players connect the virtual scene to physical range targets, enhancing usability and immersion."
Monika, UI/UX Designer
Every great competition needs a stage, and we’ve created one that captures the drama and excitement of Nearest to Pin.
“When approaching the design of the scene, we drew inspiration heavily from both the Waste Management Phoenix Open, and also Hole 17 of the Sawgrass Golf Course. We tried combining the beauty of Sawgrass with the enclosed stadium from Waste Management so that players would be able to experience the atmosphere from two iconic settings in Golf.”
Milan, 3D Scene Designer
The Nearest to Pin Multiplayer Mode is more than just a feature—It’s our way of showing that we understand what players want, what ranges need, and how to bring both together in ways that are innovative and impactful.Whether you’re a player sharpening your skills or a range owner looking to host unforgettable events, Nearest to Pin Multiplayer opens up a world of possibilities.Ready to experience it for yourself? Step up to the tee, and let’s see how close you can get!
