WHAT 'S NEW?
For many of our single player golfers, Inrange defines how practice is experienced at the driving range. It’s where golfers spend time learning their game, understanding their progress and building confidence for the course. For ranges, that confidence translates into repeat visits and longer-term player relationships.
With that in mind, the goal of this redesign was to refine and elevate the practice experience, supporting focused, goal-driven improvement while staying true to Inrange’s scientific and ambitious approach to range golf.
This update focuses on removing friction and sharpening clarity. Every design decision was guided by a simple principle: the software should enhance practice, not distract from it.
DESIGNED AROUND HOW GOLFERS PRACTISE.
Time at the range is precious, and the redesign reflects how players actually move through a practice session.
Clean layouts, clearer navigation, and a stronger visual hierarchy help players quickly understand where to focus. Key actions are easy to reach, and information is presented in a way that supports practice flow rather than interrupting it.
Visually, the interface builds on Inrange’s modern design language. Soft gradients, refined overlays, and subtle depth create a calm but premium environment, while the Inrange signature pink is used purposefully, guiding attention to key actions, states, and moments of progress.

ACCESSIBLE FOR PLAYERS AT ALL SKILL LEVELS.
Inrange is used by golfers across a wide range of skill levels, from first-time users to experienced players returning session after session. One of the core challenges of the redesign was ensuring the interface felt accessible to beginners, while still offering meaningful depth for more advanced players.
Data is surfaced progressively, supported by a clearer visual hierarchy that helps players understand what’s important at each stage of their session. Complexity is present when it adds value, but never forced. This approach allows players to stay focused on hitting shots, while still benefiting from insight and feedback when they need.

REINFORCING PROGRESS & CONFIDENCE.
Progress and motivation were also central to the redesign. Through clearer feedback, subtle reinforcement, and readable performance data, the UI celebrates effort and improvement. Players are encouraged to build confidence through visible progress, reinforcing the idea that improvement is achievable and measurable over time.
As players build confidence in their data and their game, the experience naturally supports progression into more competitive or structured modes across Inrange.
For range operators, this shift matters. When players can see their improvement and track their journey, they have a reason to come back. The redesign is built to turn casual visitors into regulars, helping ranges build lasting relationships with their players.

FAMILIAR, BUT MORE REFINED.
While the visual language of Inrange has been refined, preserving familiarity was a deliberate priority. Core layouts, interaction patterns, and navigation structures remain recognisable, ensuring returning players can step straight in without feeling like they need to relearn the product. This continuity helps maintain confidence and trust, allowing players to focus on their practice rather than the interface.
At the same time, the redesign strengthens visual and structural alignment across the wider Inrange ecosystem. Shared patterns and navigation between Inrange and Inrange+ help the experience feel cohesive, making it easier for players to move between practice and social modes. Together, this balance of familiarity and consistency supports a smoother, more intuitive experience across the platform — one that feels refined, but unmistakably Inrange.

A SMARTER PRACTICE ENVIRONMENT.
Ultimately, this redesign is about creating a more focused, confident, and intelligent practice environment. One that reflects Inrange’s belief that range golf is more than repetitive ball-hitting — it can be purposeful, data-driven, and genuinely rewarding.
Importantly, this UI upgrade also lays the foundation for what comes next. The clearer structure, improved hierarchy, and refined interaction patterns create a strong base for upcoming practice experiences, including Skills Lab — a new way for players to train specific areas of their game through structured drills and meaningful feedback.
Thanks for being part of the Inrange journey. We hope the new redesigned experience helps you practise with greater clarity, confidence, and intent.
Happy golfing.
